With muzzle pointed in safe direction trip the slide stop and let the slide fly.

Taurus pt111 g2 slide stuck closed. Found on the taurus owners forum the solution. Physically push the trigger forward then the slide will come off when you pull the trigger back again. When you reassemble pull the slide back about half way and while holding w 1 hand pull the barrel out the slide and then reinsert the holding pin when the barrel slide are correctly aligned.
